First Solo Show in 2019!

Yikes! I have been busy finishing some pieces for my first solo show of 2019 and then I went on a holiday ...so it has been a while since I posted. But now, I am back at home and have put up my first solo show of 2019 at the Muttart Conservatory (Edmonton). The show titled " Errant Wanderings" features my pastel interpretations of the Alberta landscape. The exhibition and sale runs from February 9 to March 9 so if you want to get away from the deep freeze Edmonton is currently experiencing come on down to the Muttart.

Art Show in Red Deer this Month

So I am trying out a new location to show my art this summer. I am heading off to Red Deer to participate in the Parkland Art and Garden Show. The show is on Saturday June 23 so I will not be in the Open Studio tour in Strathcona County this year. Instead I will be in Red Deer!! I still have to create some new pastel works for this show.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CANADA! An Exhibition Celebrating Canada

Yikes! With all the final preparations for the Open Studio tour this weekend (June 24-25) in Sherwood Park, I forgot to post another show in which you can view some of my small mixed media pieces. I was fortunate enough to be juried into the "Glorious and Free-A Celebration of Canada" held at VASA, St. Albert. The show runs from June 27 to July 29 with the opening reception on July 6 from 6-9 p.m..

Just came back from Leduc and the ACACA Central zone show  to the good news that my art pieces will move forward to the Alberta wide show to be held in Sherwood Park. This show is at the Ottewell Centre/Red Barn from July 22- August 13. All the art work will be juried again to move into the Alberta Spirit Show.
