A Visit to the Alberta Art Gallery

I finally made it to the Alberta Art Gallery this past Sunday to see the exhibition on Canadian landscape titled "Season to Season, Coast to Coast; A Celebration of  the Canadian Landscape"
which runs until February 20, 2017. It is a very solid exhibition with some of my favourite artists: David Milne, Illingworth Kerr, Dorothy Knowles and James Davies, one of my instructors from the University of Alberta (Faculty of Extension). I also stopped by to see my own small piece in the "Showcase" display on the main floor.

My piece "Shadow Dance" is on bottom left, second from the left.

Exhibition "Glorious and Free- A Celebration of Canada" upcoming in July 2017

I am preparing a series of  small pieces for an upcoming exhibition in St. Albert. A common theme is the classic Hudson Bay Company colours. Most of the works are turning out to be mixed media/collage with some print involved. Stay posted for more information about this exhibition.
